About Us
Welcome to overthrown interactive — where we make games for the players, not the profits.
We believe the gaming industry has lost its way, overrun by cash grabs, overpriced add-ons, and soulless titles built for quarterly earnings calls instead of real gamers. We reject that model completely.
At overthrown interactive, we’ve made a simple promise:
Every game we release will be free to play.
No upfront costs. No paywalls blocking core content. The only things you’ll ever be charged for are completely optional in-app purchases that don’t interfere with your experience.
Our mission is to deliver fun, terrifying, and unforgettable games — experiences designed to thrill, haunt, and challenge you. Whether it’s a pulse-pounding horror demo, a strange indie adventure, or a bizarre multiplayer experiment, our goal is to make games worth remembering.
We don’t follow the rules of the industry.
We overthrow them.
- Tim Marts Founder & Game Designer

Mission
To create unforgettable, terrifying, and fun gaming experiences that put players first. Every game we release is free to play, with no paywalls or cash-grab tactics — just raw, honest games built for the community, not the industry.

Vision
To lead a new wave of indie developers who reject profit-driven gaming culture and champion games made for passion, not payouts. We aim to build a worldwide community of players and creators united by fearless, unforgettable experiences.

Meet the Team
Hey, I’m Tim Marts, the founder of overthrown interactive and an indie game designer with 4 years of hands-on experience in Unreal Engine.
I started making games because I was tired of the industry’s obsession with profit over passion. I believe games should be about stories, scares, and memories — not cash grabs and content walls. That’s why every game from overthrown is free to play, with no paywalls blocking core experiences.
My work focuses on horror, VR experiences, and player-driven episodic storytelling, built for those who crave something different and aren’t afraid of the dark.
